The organization acquired 3 companies in one year and faced inconsistent and fragmented internal communications, resulting in low visibility into key updates, events, and priorities, contributing to disengagement and a lack of alignment across teams.
Solution:
Introduced and facilitated regular company-wide, All Hands meetings to establish a consistent communication cadence, partnering with executives to craft clear and aligned messaging.
Built and launched a centralized internal communications platform designed to boost transparency and streamline updates across the company. This included:
A dedicated Slack channel for real-time updates
A shared calendar for key events and milestones
A wiki for essential knowledge and resources
A regular email digest to keep everyone aligned
Results:
Average an 80% participation rate across 18 countries
+10% increase in agreement with “There is open and honest two-way communication.”
Created and authored 100+ editions of the weekly “In Case You Missed It” (ICYMI) newsletter, achieving a 50% average open rate.

As AI technologies rapidly evolve, organizations across industries are feeling the pressure to adapt, but many employees and leaders lack a foundational understanding of what AI is, how it works, and how to use it responsibly. Central Oregon Community College (COCC) recognized this gap among its regional business community and workforce development programs and wanted to offer practical, approachable training to bridge it.
Solution: COCC partnered with me to design and facilitate a series of AI Literacy workshops tailored for professionals, small business owners, and HR leaders. These workshops were designed to:
Demystify artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts
Build confidence in using everyday AI tools
Spark thoughtful conversation about responsible, ethical AI use in the workplace
Encourage strategic thinking about how AI can augment (not replace) human work
Results:
Participant confidence increased (based on pre/post workshop surveys) in understanding and applying AI tools in their work.
95% of attendees rated the workshop as "highly relevant" or "very helpful" to their role or business.
Sparked continued engagement, community events and helped COCC position itself as a regional leader in workforce AI readiness and innovation.

As the organization scaled from 200 to 1,000 employees, leadership recognized the need for a more consistent and meaningful approach to employee listening. While engagement surveys had been used in the past, results weren’t effectively cascaded or acted on, leading to frustration among employees and missed opportunities for improvement.
The Solution: Partnered with the People team to design and implement a scalable listening strategy using the Culture Amp engagement platform, ensuring survey insights were actionable, accessible, and directly tied to business priorities.
Rollout of Culture Amp as the primary employee engagement platform, including onboarding, configuration, and survey design
Developed a manager enablement toolkit to help leaders interpret team-specific results and facilitate meaningful follow-up conversations
Created custom reporting dashboards and templates to help leaders move from data to action quickly and confidently
Hosted action planning workshops with cross-functional teams to co-create solutions rooted in feedback
Developed internal communications to close the loop, sharing company-wide themes, priorities, and next steps.
The Results
80% participation rate in the annual engagement survey.
100% of managers received team-specific reports and action planning guidance within two weeks of results.
43% lift in “I have seen positive changes taking place based on last year’s employee survey results”.
Established an ongoing rhythm of listening and learning that positioned People & Culture as strategic enablers of change.

Public sector teams are navigating ongoing change, rising demands, and limited resources. Central Oregon Community College (COCC) identified the need for practical, research-backed training to support public employees and emerging leaders in building more resilient, connected teams.
The Solution: Partnered with COCC to design and deliver a custom workshop series on Building Resilient Teams, tailored specifically for the unique context and constraints of public service.
Key elements of the program included:
Interactive sessions focused on team confidence, psychological safety, and leadership behaviors that foster resilience.
Real-world scenarios and group activities that encouraged peer learning and practical application.
Emphasis on small, actionable shifts leaders can make to build trust, improve clarity, and navigate uncertainty.
Tools and takeaways aligned with organizational realities.
The Results
Participants reported increased confidence in applying the concepts to their teams.
Rated as an engaging and practical session.
Sparked demand for additional sessions on related topics, including workshops on critical thinking, decision-making, and navigating the future of work with AI.
